Jake Plummer has been a part of the Defender Auto Glass Team for 2 years now! As an Auto Glass Technician, Jake is out on the road providing glass repairs and replacements for customers’ vehicles.
How did you get started in the automotive industry?
In college, I had to choose between eating and going to university. Something to pace, lock on, and make a career out of it.
What is your favorite part about your job?
freedom to not be stuck in an office. Able to work at my own pace.
What do you wish more people, especially students in high school, knew about the profession?
You can make a living and feed a family off a good trade job. Even if your doing something else, you can still be in the automotive industry.
Just for fun, what is your dream car?
Porsch – not one specifically.
